Message from School Librarian
Our View Ridge library is the center of the school. It's a place to gather, create in Maker Space, find a great book to read and share with others. I love that our library is the tranquil, beautiful hub of the school. I am grateful for being the teacher librarian who supports students, staff and parents. Our outstanding PTA supports the library with book fairs and grant dollars.
If you’re interested in learning more about me, I graduated from Washington State University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in business. I received a Master’s In Teaching from City University in 2005. I was hired by the Everett School District in 2005 and taught first grade at Woodside Elementary. I taught there for two years, then transferred to Emerson Elementary where I taught first grade for another five years. One more transfer put me at View Ridge Elementary. I have taught kindergarten, first and third grade at View Ridge. Currently, I am the teacher librarian and love every minute being part of the View Ridge family.
